Kasinostraße (Regional Network Initiative)

The sewer line and the pipes on Kasinostraße are showing their age and need to be replaced by Regionetz. The Burtscheider Bridge also needs to be renovated.

The two measures are interdependent in terms of location and timing. To minimize the impact of detour traffic, Kasionstraße must first be closed on October 26, 2026. Motor vehicle traffic will be diverted via the Burtscheider Bridge, and public transportation will be diverted via Eynattener Str.

Public Information Session

The City of Aachen, the municipal utility, and Regionetz will provide information about the construction work and the official detour routes during an online event. The event will take place on:

October 15, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m.
