Corporate mobility management describes how employers deal with issues relating to the mobility of their employees: How do they commute to work? How are business trips made? What incentive structures are in place and how can I support my employees' sustainable mobility behavior? How can I position my company for the future and take responsibility in urban society? Mobility management is also an important factor in the competition for new employees, as employees ask themselves: What opportunities does my new employer offer me in terms of my commute to work? And will I get a job ticket? These are just two of the questions that employees ask themselves. But specific topics ranging from mobile working and employee health to emission-free company vehicles and the optimization of required parking spaces are also closely linked to mobility management.

The clever mobil program office, which is formed by the partners City of Aachen and StädteRegion, IHK, AVV and ASEAG, will advise you on these questions.
The "clever mobil" program essentially comprises an initial consultation, mobility analysis (analysis of current and potential employee mobility), definition of goals and measures, impact measurement as well as networking and exchange between the participants.

Clever Mobil is a joint program of the core partners City of Aachen, StädteRegion Aachen, IHK, avv and ASEAG. The advisory service integrates the respective mobility offers of these core partners.

Advantages of participating in the program

Participating companies benefit from a free individual mobility analysis based on an employee survey as well as advice on location- and context-specific proposals for measures.

In addition, the program offers test offers to test sustainable mobility alternatives to the private car free of charge, together and without obligation and accompanying campaign support to communicate corresponding actions in the company.

Furthermore, the partners in the clever mobil program offer consulting services for participating companies (including training for mobility managers (IHK), advice on job tickets (AVV), advice on the multimodal mobility app movA for companies (ASEAG)).

Regular networking events and the exchange of experiences with other companies can provide inspiration, ideas and concrete support for the implementation of measures.

The results achieved are evaluated and recognized at an annual conference.

Commercial cargo bikes

Fast-paced trade

With the "flottes Gewerbe" project, the city of Aachen wants to support the commercial use of cargo bikes. The core of the project is a test format for commercial cargo bikes in order to raise awareness of the variety of applications for commercial cargo bikes and to test their use in a specific context.

Contribution to climate protection

"Flottes Gewerbe" is carried out by cargobike.jetzt GmbH on behalf of the city of Aachen and is aimed specifically at companies and businesses based in Aachen. Regardless of whether they are an electrician, carpenter, bakery, gardener, social care service or sports club, cargo bikes have the potential to replace commercial car or van journeys in the city area and can thus make a contribution to climate protection. The advantages for companies: Traffic jams can be avoided, finding a parking space is much easier and even trainees are mobile with cargo bikes. Many transports can be handled with less stress.

However, it is currently difficult for businesses and companies to test different cargo bikes without obligation, to find the right cargo bike for their own requirements and also to obtain quickly available and reliable service and maintenance offers for the vehicles.

This is where the "flottes Gewerbe" project comes in. As part of the project, selected, interested businesses, tradespeople or companies - the so-called test pioneer companies - receive sound advice and are provided with a cargo bike that meets their individual requirements free of charge for a test period of five weeks. Because nothing is more convincing than a successful trial! Service, maintenance, insurance and logistics are all included, so the test pioneers don't have to worry about a thing.
