Launches New Cargo Bike Campaign
Reserve, unlock, and ride off to daycare, the supermarket, or just for fun. LaRa, the free cargo bike rental system, makes it possible. It is impossible to imagine the city of Aachen without cargo bikes. The daily commute to work, picking up the children, the weekly shopping trip - all of this can be done together, even without a car.
Transporting children, weekly shopping and more - a cargo bike is the perfect solution for covering distances in the city comfortably and quickly. In order to give as many citizens as possible access to this practical means of transportation, the city of Aachen operates a free cargo bike rental service together with committed partners from the urban community. Families in Aachen receive financial support for the purchase of cargo bikes.
