Construction sites

In the city of Aachen, many supply lines (electricity, water, gas and sewers) are many decades old. Many of them need to be fundamentally renewed step by step. In addition, there are construction sites that suddenly arise because supply lines or sewers break. And finally, high-performance fiber optic cables are being laid for fast telephone and internet communication and the district heating network is being expanded over a wide area. All this work on the infrastructure means that there are many construction sites in the city. On the following pages, the city provides information about construction sites in Aachen.
