As part of a joint operation by the public order office and the Aachen police, last Monday, February 2, the police seized heroin, cocaine, cannabis, illegal vapes, drugs and a three-figure sum of cash from a kiosk on Gasborn and the adjoining residential building. The police also provisionally arrested three suspected men.

The enforcement and investigation service of the municipal public order office was accompanied by colleagues from the police as part of a business inspection, who had a search warrant for the premises on suspicion of dealing in narcotics. Following the operation, the public order office sealed the kiosk and the living quarters.

While the control measures were still in progress, a man offered police officers a so-called "bubble" of heroin for sale. A separate investigation was initiated against him on suspicion of trafficking in narcotics.
