The AACHEN*2030 land use plan is to be amended for the planning area in the Aachen-Laurensberg district, in the area between Eulersweg, Hubert-Wienen-Straße, Krefelder Straße, am Sportpark Soers and Soerser Weg. The aim of the plan is to depict a special area with the purpose of "sport, leisure and culture" to implement the specifications from the Soers Sports Park master plan.

The planning committee and the Aachen-Laurensberg district council have therefore decided to involve the public at an early stage. This will run until Friday, November 28. The documents can be accessed via the central NRW internet portal beteiligung.nrw.de and beteiligung.aachen.de as well as at www.aachen.de/bauleitplanung. The documents are also available in the foyer of the Laurensberg district office, Rathausstraße 12. Opening hours: Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and additionally on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. The public hearing for citizens, which offers the opportunity to comment and discuss, will take place on Wednesday, November 19, from 6 pm to 8 pm in the press center of the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein (ALRV) at Albert-Servais-Allee 50.
