Horbacher Straße bridge: During the construction phase, the Netliner runs as far as Horbach
The bridge over the Aachen-Mönchengladbach railroad line on Horbacher Straße is closed because it is being demolished and rebuilt. Bus routes 17 and 44 are affected by this closure and are being widely diverted via Rathausstraße, Laurensberger Straße and Vetschauer Weg.
Bus services on the route between Horbach and the center of Richterich are also negatively affected. This is because the stops at Berensberger Straße, Hander Weg and Richterich Kirche will no longer be served.
In order to improve bus services between Horbach and Alt-Richterich during the construction of the new bridge, the Netliner service in the north of Aachen is being extended. The Netliner, which currently operates in Laurensberg and Richterich, will also run to Horbach from October 27, i.e. directly after the fall vacations. If required, it will stop at the following stops in Horbach: Forsterheide, Horbach Linde, Horbach Kirche and Horbach Wendeschleife.
The NetLiner has no fixed timetable and no fixed route. Departure times and routes are based on passenger requests. The journey requests are automatically bundled by ASEAG.
The Netliner runs in the north of Aachen from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 12 noon and between 3 p.m. and midnight. On Saturdays, it can be booked from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to midnight. On Sundays, it operates from 10 a.m. to midnight. The extended route of the Netliner to Horbach is initially limited to the period until the bridge on Horbacher Straße has been built.
Due to the time restrictions and for economic reasons, the signs at the aforementioned stops and the printed information will not be adapted. ASEAG passengers will be informed via a supplementary notice and also online. The new stops will be activated in the ASEAG booking system on the morning of October 27.
