The city administration and Regionetz invite you to an information evening on the planned construction work and future traffic regulations on Napoleonsberg at the junction of Napoleonsberg and Schleckheimer Straße. The event begins on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the auditorium of the Inda-Gymnasium, Gangolfsweg 52, in Kornelimünster. It will end at around 8 pm.

Regionetz will be installing a shut-off valve at Steinkaulplatz from the end of October 2025. This is needed for further work on a new water transport pipeline on Napoleonsberg. Its construction will begin in June 2026 after the historic fair.

Immediately after the construction of the water pipeline, the Inde embankment wall will be renovated. In addition, the out-of-town Kornelimünster stop, the sidewalks and the roadway will be renewed. These construction works overlap in time and will lead to considerable traffic restrictions on the Napoleonsberg.

The Napoleonsberg stops will then be rebuilt in both directions. In the course of this, a new traffic arrangement is planned at the Steinkaulplatz junction.
