Trainees at Aachen's municipal utility celebrate successful graduation
With excellent results in their pockets, eight trainees from the Aachen municipal company have now celebrated the successful completion of their training: Michael Fischer, Angelika Müller and Maximilian Papesch from the ornamental plant cultivation department, Leon Heutz as a cemetery gardener, Simon-Daniel Collette, Markus Krauss and Nils Lüdeke from the gardening and landscaping department and Christoph Geilgens as a road maintenance worker all achieved good results in their respective specialist areas in their examinations.
On behalf of the 850 employees of Aachener Stadtbetrieb, Marlon Knops, Deputy Operations Manager, congratulated the graduates: "We are proud that you have successfully completed your training and will now be helping to shape Aachen in a variety of ways as part of 'Team Stadtbetrieb'. Through your work, you give our city its beautiful face and appearance and make a significant contribution to its daily functioning."
At the graduation ceremony, there was a lot of praise for the achievements of the past months as well as great recognition and thanks for the trainers who have successfully accompanied the trainees on their way.
Michaela Landskron, Head of Training at the municipal company, emphasized: "Our trainees have shown exceptional commitment during their training and have developed with great dedication and motivation. It's great to see how you are now ready to tackle your new role with us with passion."
The graduates are looking forward to the new challenges in the various areas of Aachen's municipal services and found out at the graduation ceremony what career and further training opportunities there are in municipal services.
