The new appointment booking software of the Citizens' Service is now available. Free appointments for 2025 can now be booked via the new program. This applies to appointments for the Citizens' Service at the Hackländerstraße and Katschhof locations as well as the six district offices.

The new booking software allows appointments to be reserved for 20 minutes during data entry. This is particularly helpful during peak booking times, around 7.45 in the morning. Citizens no longer need to worry that someone else will be quicker and "snatch" the selected appointment. It also takes a stress factor away from the staff at the Citizens' Service Center, as the data of citizens who want to make an appointment by phone can be retrieved at a normal working pace. In addition, the program includes major and minor innovations that make it easier to use: For example, the service (e.g. applying for an ID card) is now selected in the first booking step, followed by the location with date and time. After selecting the service, an overview of all locations appears with the next available appointment. Of course, it is still possible to search for an appointment at a desired location. The two appointment search options shorten the booking process, as it is no longer necessary to switch between locations to search for available appointments.

The booking process itself basically remains the same. The selectable services are grouped into categories as before (registration matters), but can now also be filtered using a search field.

The entry of personal data remains identical to the previous software and is requested in the last step. Appointments are confirmed by e-mail.

And on site? You can still log in at the terminal with your date of birth or QR code up to 10 minutes before the start of your appointment.

Both programs will run in parallel until the end of the year. Appointments up to and including December 20, 2024 can be accessed via the "old" software. Appointments from January 2, 2025 onwards can only be booked via the new software, which can be easily found via a corresponding link on the previous appointment booking page.
