The asphalt work on the first construction phase in the Brand business park has been completed. Signs and markings were put up by mid-December 2023. Further remaining work has been completed. The second construction phase (BA) is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2025. The intersection of Nordstraße, Brand business park and Brander Heide will also be rebuilt.

Occasion and goal

In the Brand business park, which was developed as a business park in 2013 using construction roads, the sidewalks, access roads, parking spaces and the roadway are to be completed. The final expansion of the Brand business park is to be carried out in two construction phases:

The first construction phase includes almost all roads in the Brand business park between the "Erdbeerfeld" junction and the property with house number 84 in the direction of Nordstraße. In the second construction phase, the remaining section of the Gewerbepark Brand road between plot 84 and Nordstraße will be upgraded. The intersection of Nordstraße, Gewerbepark Brand and Brander Heide will also be fundamentally redesigned. In addition, the section between the junction after house no. 49 and house no. 80 is to be completed.

Planning

In the course of the 2nd construction phase, the cycle route through the industrial estate in the direction of Erdbeerfeld/Vennbahnweg will be reconsidered and the junction of Gewerbepark Brand/Nordstraße/Brander Heide will also be expanded.
