The outdoor pool opens a little later in the morning
Fall has now officially begun. You can tell by the fact that sunrise is getting later and later. To ensure that staff can continue to guarantee the safety of swimmers even in the early morning during the last two weeks or so of the season, the outdoor pool will open a quarter of an hour later starting tomorrow (Wednesday, September 2) through the last day of the season on Sunday, September 13. Admission begins at 6:45 a.m., and swimming starts at 7:00 a.m. This applies Tuesday through Sunday. On Mondays, the outdoor pool typically opens at 12:00 p.m. due to cleaning day.
Up-to-date information on the swimming pools and their hours of operation: The City of Aachen’s Sports Department asks all visitors to check the City of Aachen’s sports portal at www.aachen.de/schwimmen before visiting any of the city’s indoor or outdoor swimming pools to ensure there are no restrictions or closures at the respective facilities.
Staff wanted
The City of Aachen is looking for staff for its swimming pools. We are looking for pool attendants (m/f/d) and cleaning staff for the municipal pools (m/f/d).
