In Conversation: The Mayor of Richterich
With this “Dialog Tour,” Mayor Dr. Michael Ziemons is creating another opportunity for direct dialogue with the residents of Aachen. On Friday, October 16, interested residents will have the opportunity to discuss their concerns, ideas, and questions in person with the mayor. The dialogue will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Schönau Castle, in the Large Conference Room, located at Schönauer Allee 20 in Richterich. District Mayor Hans Peter Kehr and District Administrator Yvonne Moritz will also be present.
The goal of this format is to foster an open, accessible, and community-oriented dialogue that focuses on people’s concerns and perspectives. In doing so, it deliberately turns its attention to the outlying neighborhoods as well. These on-site discussions make it possible to directly address issues from the neighborhoods and easily engage in conversation with those in charge.
Whether you have questions about the Richterich district, suggestions for community life in the area, or issues that affect the entire city: Everyone interested is invited to share their ideas, questions, and concerns. This in-person exchange offers an opportunity to learn about different perspectives and address issues in the district directly.
“It’s important to me to talk directly with the people of Aachen and find out what matters to them. Especially in the outlying areas, I want to listen, take their suggestions on board, and learn about the issues that are currently most important to people there,” says the mayor.
