Romp, run, play - have fun: The sports vacation games organized by the city's sports department will be taking place again during the upcoming Easter vacations. From Monday, March 30, up to and including Thursday, April 2, all children aged six to eleven are invited to the sports hall at Branderhofer Weg 15 (Gillesbachtal) to take part in sports and games under the supervision of three instructors every day from 9 am to 1 pm. Participation is free for all children. Registration is not required. However, parents must fill out the consent form - which can be found at www.aachen.de/ferienspiele - and give it to the children. Please note that if you arrive after 9.15 am, participation is unfortunately no longer possible.

Additional offers
During the vacation games, children can also take part of the German sports badge under the guidance of the exercise leaders. To complete the sports badge, there is also the opportunity to take the required swimming test (on your own responsibility!). This is possible during regular opening hours in the Brand and Süd swimming pools and in the Ulla-Klinger-Halle. Participation is voluntary. Admission to the swimming pools must be paid.

As an additional offer, a club will give the children an insight into its sport. This offer will also take place free of charge as part of the vacation games in the Gillesbachtal sports hall between 9 am and 1 pm. The exact day and the club have not yet been determined.

Sportswear and provisions
The children must come in sportswear suitable for the weather, bring some healthy provisions and sufficient drinks. Only indoor shoes are permitted in the hall.

As the event ends at 1 p.m., it is important that participants are also picked up by their parents at this time if necessary. If a child is allowed to go home alone, this must be stated in the declaration of consent.
