Together to the museum in the morning in June

"Together in the Museum in the Morning" is starting in June 2026 with new offers. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you can spend the morning in the museum from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. together with other art lovers or on your own with a private guided tour.

The Kulturbetrieb der Stadt Aachen is continuing the success of "Gemeinsam morgens ins Museum". "These new offers for individual visitors and groups have become very well established since their introduction in September last year," says Irit Tirtey, Managing Director of the City of Aachen's Department of Cultural Affairs. The program also includes special offers such as curator talks or private guided tours on desired topics for individual guests or groups.

"Into the museum with a baby" is the motto for young parents, so that even the very youngest can soak up the city's treasures with their mother's milk, so to speak. "Other events such as 'Barococo' or 'Sweet Break' (in the Couven Museum), 'Art is good for you' (in all three museums) or 'Works of art simply explained' complete the spectrum," explains Pia vom Dorp, Head of Museum Services.
