Traditional Brander Summer Fair 2026
It’s happening even before summer break: From Friday, July 10, through Monday, July 13, the traditional Brander Summer Fair will once again draw crowds of all ages to the area around the Brander Bull with its amusement rides. Then the fun will be in full swing with carousels, bumper cars, and colorful booths. For the first time, the historic “Schwanenflieger” will be making its rounds at the foot of St. Donatus. And of course, the classic chain carousel will be there as well. The traditional Brander fair has been taking place for over 150 years in honor of the feast day of St. Donatus.
On Friday, July 10, the family-friendly summer fair kicks off with a happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m.: Pay once and ride twice. On Saturday and Monday, the fair also begins at 3 p.m., and on Sunday, it starts as early as 11 a.m. The rides close at 9 p.m. every day. On Sunday, July 12, the shops around the market square and on Trierer Straße will also be open from 1 to 6 p.m.
The Brander weekly market will be moved to the parking lot next to the Marktschule on Saturday, July 11, and Tuesday, July 14.
