Pub talk: Lord Mayor Dr. Michael Ziemons extends an invitation
The direct exchange with the people of Aachen is a central concern of Lord Mayor Dr. Michael Ziemons. Next Monday, January 19, he is therefore inviting people to a pub talk for the first time. From 7 to 9 p.m. at KiezKini, Promenadenstraße 46, there will be an opportunity to talk directly to the Lord Mayor in a relaxed atmosphere.
With the pub consultation hours, Ziemons is supplementing and expanding the existing citizens' consultation hours with a further, deliberately low-threshold and open discussion offer. The aim is to further strengthen local exchange and create additional opportunities for personal discussions - close to the people, informal and close to everyday life. Whether specific concerns, ideas for the district or getting to know each other personally: all topics are welcome. "It is important to me to be approachable for people and to take up their issues where they arise: in the districts and in the direct environment, without hurdles and without formal procedures," says the Lord Mayor. "Personal dialog on the ground is an important basis for citizen-oriented and transparent local politics."
Registration is not required. Interested citizens can simply drop by, take a seat and seek a chat. The pub crawl is part of a series of dialog appointments with the Lord Mayor. The dialog tour across the city will be continued, and further public meetings are planned. Current dates and information will be published continuously on the City of Aachen's homepage: Bürger*innenbeteiligung Stadt Aachen | Stadt Aachen
