The City of Aachen's culture department is ringing in the spring with a special program. For those interested in art, there is a varied program with 27 events at the Couven Museum, the Ludwig Forum Aachen and the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum.

In addition to "Guided tours at the start of spring" for garden lovers and flower enthusiasts, there are also guided tours of the depot that offer a look behind the scenes, such as the open restoration laboratory for the installation "Earth, Moon, Sun" by video artist Nam June Paik in the Ludwig Forum. The "Dress, coat, hood & collar - works of art on the subject of fashion simply explained" invites visitors to discuss fashion developments past and present. Creative minds can design their own flower wreaths in the workshop "Viewing and designing flower art" in cooperation with Caros Lädchen at the Couven Museum or learn how to cut and fit passe-partouts at the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum - under the guidance of a professional.

At the "Couven Art Chat", the focus is on participants looking at art together, exchanging ideas and talking over coffee and croissants. Parents with babies can enjoy the moving art objects in the "Praymobil" exhibition in a relaxed atmosphere and families can experiment with colors together in the workshop "An die Farbe - fertig, los!" or in the workshop "Endlich Frühling! - Family ties special" workshop to create and photograph flowers.
