The meeting of the Election Committee begins at 5 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall. There, the - possibly final - result of the election of the Lord Mayor of the City of Aachen will be determined.

Tuesday, September 16,
The meeting of the Children and Youth Committee starts at 5 p.m. in room 207 of the administration building on Mozartstraße. The baby hatch at Marienhospital and the dual, online-based degree course in social work "BASA Dual" will be presented there. The committee will also deal with the request for more green and play areas submitted by the student parliament of GGS Richterich.

The operating committee for Aachener Stadtbetrieb also meets at 5 p.m. in the meeting room of Aachener Stadtbetrieb on Madrider Ring. The committee will be presented with the status report on the implementation of the ecological enhancement of the greenery along the paths. The report on the first half of the year 2025 of the Aachener Stadtbetrieb municipal enterprise and announcements from the administration are also part of the agenda.

At the same time, the Finance Committee meets in the meeting room of Haus Löwenstein. It deals with the application for the City of Aachen to participate in the old debt relief program of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and property tax C. The Aachen City Council meets at 5 p.m. in the council chamber. It will decide on the creation of five half-time positions for educators in the area of open all-day schools. Participation in the state's old debt relief program is also a topic here. And the decision on five development plans is on the agenda.

Thursday, 18 September
The meeting of the Committee for Science and Digitization begins at 5 p.m. in the administration building on Maria-Theresia-Allee, Campus meeting room. The committee will deal with the presentation of the project association Akademische Kultur an der RWTH Aachen e. V. and the status report on the relaunch of aachen.de.
