The City of Aachen's Economic Development Agency, together with the Markets and Action Circle City e. V. (MAC), hosted the ninth regulars' table for retail, gastronomy and trade. The focus of the meeting on September 30 was the seventh edition of the city's "Oecher Perlen" development fund. Under the motto "A summer together in the city", 18 creative projects have been realized to date with funding totalling over 150,000 euros.

The representatives of the interest groups, MAC e. V. and the City of Aachen also presented positive developments such as the after-work market, the constructive approach to the construction site on Theaterplatz and the new guidelines for outdoor catering. In small workshops, the participants developed new formats for district activities and concrete measures to further revitalize the city centre.
