Local politics in the week from November 24 to 30
The nature conservation advisory board and the Aachen-Laurensberg and -Richterich district councils will be meeting next week.
Tuesday, November 25,
The meeting of the Nature Conservation Advisory Board begins at 5 p.m. in the administration building on Maria-Theresia-Allee (Campus meeting room). The chairman will report on cases of participation and the reconstruction of the Rahe flood retention basin will be presented.
Wednesday, November 26,
The Aachen-Laurensberg district council meets at 5.30 p.m. in the meeting room of the district office on Rathausstraße. Three of the topics: the barrier-free conversion of bus stops, an interim use of the former soccer pitch on Rathausstraße and the allocation of district funds for 2025.
The Aachen-Richterich district council will meet in the meeting room of Schloss Schönau from 6 pm. The agenda includes a status report on the "Avantis" business park, improving road safety at a parking lot exit on Roermonder Straße and street tree planting in public spaces in Richterich and Horbach.
