The employees of Aachen's municipal services are preparing the city's cemeteries for winter. In this context, the water pipes will be successively turned off in the coming week, starting Monday, November 24. These are so-called summer pipes, which are not frost-proof. The same applies to the water columns, which could be damaged by the frost. In spring, when the temperatures rise again, the pipes will be reopened.
