"Kaiserplatz in view": Open dialog with citizens at the day of action

As part of the "Kaiserplatz im Blick - gemeinsam gestalten" campaign month, Mayor Sibylle Keupen cordially invites you to a citizens' dialog on Kaiserplatz on Saturday, 10 May from 1 to 3 pm. All interested citizens will have the opportunity to share their ideas, questions and wishes about Kaiserplatz directly at an open stand. The dialog offer is part of the kick-off event, at which a variety of activities, exhibitions and encounters will take place around Kaiserplatz between noon and 6 pm.

The Citizens' Dialogue deliberately offers a low-threshold approach: without a stage, without registration, but with plenty of room for exchange at eye level.

Together with social organizations, initiatives and municipal employees, the aim is to set a positive example for diversity, participation and the future of public spaces. "Kaiserplatz is a place with many stories - but above all with potential for change. I'm looking forward to talking to local people and discussing how we can shape this space better together," says Lord Mayor Sibylle Keupen.

The "Kaiserplatz im Blick - gemeinsam gestalten" month of action is organized by the Kaiserplatz coordination office. In May and early June, it brings together numerous other events that show just how diverse and lively Kaiserplatz is: from art events and readings to city tours and hands-on projects. The Citizens' Dialogue complements the program as an open discussion format that promotes direct exchange between the city administration and urban society.

Anyone who would like to submit a specific request in advance can do so by emailing the Citizens' Dialogue team at buerger_innendialog@mail.aachen.de.
