Construction work on Theaterplatz and Theaterstraße has been underway since the beginning of 2025. At the moment, the main focus is on underground pipeline construction work. At the same time, the plans above ground are being fleshed out. The aim is to transform Theaterplatz into a stage for everyone. The City of Aachen is therefore inviting citizens to an information event on Tuesday, May 20, from 6.30 to 8 p.m. at the IHK in Theaterstraße 6-10. The administration would like to inform about the results of the implementation planning, present the next steps in the planning and construction process and present the communication and dialog component in the redesign process. The Theaterplatz team will of course be available to answer questions from citizens and is looking forward to the dialog.
