The Aachen-Nord district is known for its lively, diverse and committed neighborhood. People live here who put their heart and soul into their surroundings - together with numerous initiatives, associations and institutions that actively shape life in the neighborhood.

With this in mind, many committed stakeholders in the district have accepted the invitation from the Aachen-Nord neighbourhood management and the depot management to put together a cheerful, colorful family festival under the motto "By you, for you, with you" . All Aachen residents are cordially invited to the Depot Talstraße on Sunday, May 11, 2025, from 1 pm.

Visitors can look forward to a varied program for young and old with numerous hands-on activities that awaken creativity, curiosity and a sense of community: whether painting activities, street art, a photo wall, goal shooting, the popular smoothie bike or face painting - there is something for everyone. Try out, create and laugh to your heart's content!

A variety of music, dance and show acts celebrate on the stage. Local groups and artists from the district and the city will create a great atmosphere and a good mood. They include the dance group No Limits, Clown Marco, the band Neon Grau 52 and the musician Senad Katica, who is well known in Aachen-Nord.

Whether sweet or savory, the culinary offerings are not neglected either. And if you like, you can also bring your own picnic from home - in the spirit of open, communal togetherness.

The organizers around the district and depot management are looking forward to many nice encounters and a cheerful get-together with all neighbors and guests - right in the heart of Aachen-Nord!
