Spring is here, the days are getting longer and with it the "Running in the Waldstadion with lighting" offer ends on Mondays and Fridays in the Waldstadion. It won't start again until October.

But sports enthusiasts in Aachen can still use the stadium for their leisure activities: From next Sunday, April 6, the Waldstadion will be open to the public every Sunday from 1 to 5 pm. Exceptions are the Easter vacation from April 14 to 27, Pentecost Sunday, June 8, and the summer vacation from July 28 to August 24. Possible cancellations, for example due to events, will be announced in good time.

Two important notes: To protect the synthetic surface of the running track, some lanes, especially the inner lane, will be closed. To ensure that the synthetic track remains functional, these closures must be observed and accepted. For the same reason, no spikes may be used.

And: The City of Aachen expressly draws attention to the fact that the changing and shower rooms in the stadium are not open for liability reasons and that there is no training supervisor. The city is not liable for accidents that occur while using the stadium.
