The tree maintenance team of Aachen's municipal utility company has to cut down six service trees in Reinhardstraße at short notice. The trees are completely dead and no longer safe for traffic. As a result, they pose a danger to all road users. For the same reason, four trees also have to be removed in the adjacent Albert-Maas-Straße.

The work will be carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 10 and 11. No stopping zones will be set up in the adjacent parking areas for this period.

All felling work has been coordinated with and approved by the city's Climate and Environment Department. The vacant tree locations will be planned over by the employees of the Climate and Environment Department and, if possible, replanted at a later date.
