Resident parking: Information on the planned "ERZ" parking zone has been launched

The city is informing interested citizens about the planned residents' parking zone ERZ between Forster Weg and Adenauerallee until July 18, 2025. This information round is based on resolutions passed by the Mobility Committee and the Aachen-Mitte district council. Both bodies had commissioned the administration to plan and inform about the establishment of the "ERZ" residents' parking zone.

The following streets should belong to the ERZ parking zone: Erzbergerallee (railroad line to Adenauerallee), Forster Weg (between Branderhofer Weg and Erzbergerallee) as well as the streets Am Beverbach, Am Branderhof, Am Römerhof, Am Ziegelweiher, Auf Beverau, Austraße, Buschhäuserweg, Im Grüntal, In den Küpperbenden and In den Zwanzigmorgen.

The specialist administration offers two information formats. An audio presentation on the planning of the planned residents' parking zone is available on the following website of the City of Aachen: www.aachen.de/bewohnerparken.

The plans are also on display in the foyer of the Marschiertor administration building at Lagerhausstraße 20. Interested parties can view the plans there until Friday, July 18, from Monday to Thursday between 8 am and 5.30 pm and on Friday from 8 am to 2.30 pm.

Anyone with suggestions, questions and comments on the planning of the new parking zone can send them to the administration by hand via the letterbox in the foyer of the Marschiertor administration building or by email to the following address: buergerinfo-bewohnerparken@mail.aachen.de. All submissions will be documented, taken into account in the further consideration process and submitted to the political bodies.
