Warning strike on Thursday: restrictions at the city library and waste collection service

The union members of the city administration have called a warning strike for today, Thursday, February 6. For this reason, the central library in Couvenstraße will be closed today. The book bus will not be running. The district library in the Talstraße depot is open.

The recycling center in Eilendorf, Kellershaustraße 10, is also closed. The recycling center Brand, Camp Pirotte 50, is open at the usual times.

The waste collection of the Aachener Stadtbetrieb had to be canceled. The bulky waste collection took place as planned.

The waste garbage cans that were not emptied due to the warning strike will be successively emptied in the following days. All bins in the partial service can remain in place. The full service will be operated as normal by the waste management staff of Aachener Stadtbetrieb.
