A leak has occurred in a gas transport pipeline at Wilhelmstraße 7. For this reason, Regionetz will be setting up an excavation pit for an emergency measure in Wilhelmstraße next Monday, August 25.

Due to the extent and depth of the excavation pit, lanes on Wilhelmstraße in the direction of Kaiserplatz must be reduced and the cycle lane removed. The left-hand lane will remain for motorized traffic. Immediately behind the construction site, the road will be reopened to all four lanes so that traffic can travel in all directions at the Kaiserplatz junction. The two lanes in the direction of Normaluhr will remain open.

A safe detour route will be set up for cycle traffic via Augustastraße, Steffensplatz and Maxstraße. The footpath can be maintained at a width of 1.5 meters.
