The City of Aachen supports cultural activities of institutions, initiatives and individuals who make a contribution to the cultural life of our city outside the municipal facilities (so-called KAStE funding).

Applications for financial support can be submitted online, by e-mail or by post.

In view of the current situation, please note that funding applications for a project or an annual program with a requested funding of more than € 5,000, an investment or a venue funding must be received by the City of Aachen by 30.09.2025. For applications for funding for individual artistic projects (under €5,000.00), the latest deadline for submitting applications is 3 months before the start of the project.

In addition to this financial support, the City of Aachen supports cultural initiatives and artists by providing advice and other assistance in the implementation of their projects. Advice can be provided by telephone, via Zoom or in person at the cultural institution. Details can be found on the service portal of the City of Aachen.
