Good news and bad news: The four trees in the outdoor pool that are infested with a pest can be removed as early as tomorrow. For this reason, the outdoor pool will have to be completely closed tomorrow until 4 p.m. in order to ensure safety during the work of the specialist company and during removal.

Tomorrow, the outdoor pool will therefore not open at 10 a.m. as originally planned, but at 4 p.m. instead. But then it can stay open until 9.15 pm. The ticket office closes at 8.15 pm. On Wednesday, some final clean-up work will have to be done, so that part of the non-swimmers' pool and part of the sunbathing lawn will remain closed, but the pool can open from 6.30 am to 9.15 pm. And the paddling pool will be fully open again on Wednesday.

Due to the ongoing tense staffing situation in Aachen's swimming pools, the municipal sports department asks all bathers to check the city of Aachen's sports portal at www.aachen.de/sport before visiting the outdoor pool or one of the indoor swimming pools to ensure that there are no restrictions or closures in the respective pools.
