Lord Mayor Sibylle Keupen invites 100 holders of the Aachen Volunteer Pass to the New Year's reception for committed people in Aachen. This will take place on January 11, 2025 from 11 a.m. in the Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall. "This traditional event honors the diverse commitment of Aachen's citizens in the field of volunteering. At the reception for the New Year, I would like to say thank you in this way for their impressive commitment," said the Lord Mayor.

In addition to members of clubs, organizations and associations, individuals are also cordially invited to attend. Due to the limited space in the Coronation Hall, 100 tickets can be allocated for the time being. Holders of the volunteer pass who would like to take part should register with a photo of their volunteer pass at petra.mahr@mail.aachen.de.

Participation is free of charge. If there is high demand, tickets will be drawn by lot. The tickets will be sent to the citizens drawn by e-mail in December. Barrier-free access to the event is possible via the Marienturm entrance.
