Resident parking: Information on new parking zone "BU 5" starts

The city is informing interested citizens about the planned residents' parking zone "BU 5" between Eupener Straße, Salierallee and Hein-Görgen-Straße from December 9 to 31, 2024.

The following streets should belong to parking zone BU 5: Amyastraße between Rhein-Maas-Straße and Salierallee, An der Kulprie, Bastogne City, Erckensstraße, Eupener Straße between Rhein-Maas-Straße and Salierallee, Hein-Görgen-Straße, Malmedyer Straße between An der Ellermühle and Salierallee, Middeldorfstraße, Mühlental, Prinz-Eugen-Straße, Salierallee and Siegelallee (stub street houses 1 to 9).

The specialist administration offers two information formats. A presentation on the planning, set to music, will be available on the City of Aachen's YouTube channel from Monday, December 9 via the following link: https://www.youtube.com/embed/WMNfPtaqRF4.

The plans will also be on display in the foyer of the Marschiertor administration building at Lagerhausstraße 20. Interested parties can view the plans there until Friday, December 20, from Monday to Thursday between 8 am and 5.30 pm and on Friday from 8 am to 2.30 pm. Important note: The city administration will be closed from December 23 to January 1, 2025.

Anyone with suggestions, questions and comments on the planning of the new parking zone can send them to the administration by hand via the letterbox in the foyer of the Marschiertor administration building or by email to the following email address by January 14, 2025: buergerinfo-bewohnerparken@mail.aachen.de. All submissions will be documented, taken into account in the further consideration process and submitted to the political bodies.
