Aachen cycling summer "Cycle through the horse country park": opening cycle tour
This year’s Aachen Bike Summer offers a great opportunity to rack up some cycling kilometers for Aachen during City Cycling 2026. This year marks the 32nd edition of Aachen Bike Summer. Every year, a circular route for the Aachen Bike Summer is signposted, extending into
the fall. This year, the signposted, approximately 22-kilometer circular route is dedicated to the 2026 World Equestrian Games in Aachen. The tour begins at the Reitstadion on Soerser Weg and leads from there to the Pferdelandpark, located between the cities of Aachen, Herzogenrath, and Kerkrade. This cross-border landscape park covers an area of 2,000 hectares and includes the following areas: Lousberg, Soers, Hasenwalder Feld, and Horbacher Börde. Those interested can find a detailed route description at
www.fahrad-in-aachen.deDie. The opening tour, themed “Cycle Through the Pferdelandpark,” will take place on Sunday, June 7, at 1:30 p.m. at the Reitstation on Soerser Weg. Those interested can request the flyer for this year’s tour from Stephanie Küpper: fahrrad-in-aachen@mail.aachen.de
