- 1855: Maria-Hilf hospital in the city garden
- End of the 19th century: Great demand for the popular bathing facilities
- Hospital demolition
- 1914 to 1916: Construction of the new Kurhaus as a neoclassical building in an ensemble with the Quellenhof palace hotel and a connecting lobby (architect Karl Stöhr)
- Damaged during World War II
- 1950: Reconstruction and use as an event venue
- 1975: Move into the casino with extensive renovation work
- 1983: Entry in the list of monuments
- 2015: Casino moves out - vacancy
- 2015 to 2019: Various preliminary investigations, various utilization concepts
- 2020: Start of pollutant remediation
