Construction sites

In the city of Aachen, some supply lines (electricity, water, gas and sewers) are many decades old. Many of them need to be fundamentally renewed in stages. In addition, there are construction sites that suddenly arise because supply lines or sewers break. And finally, high-performance fiber optic cables are being laid for fast telephone and internet communication and the district heating network is being expanded over a wide area. All this work on the infrastructure is causing roadworks in the city. Construction sites are necessary so that Aachen can position itself for the future and look better afterwards than before.
On the following pages, the city provides information about the construction sites in Aachen.
