Despite a severe weather warning the day before and a rainy start to the day, over 150 organizations accepted the City of Aachen’s invitation and put together a varied program. At information booths, hands-on activities, and on stage with music, dance, and sports performances, guests could explore, try things out, and actively participate. The relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere invited visitors to linger and also offered numerous opportunities for anyone interested in volunteering.

The date for the next edition in 2027 will be announced shortly. Before that, the City of Aachen would like to gather feedback from participating organizations and guests to further develop the event together. After all, “Aachen Shows Commitment” thrives on the people and organizations that shape this day.
