OT Carl-Sonnenschein-Haus
Description
The St. Jakob Community Youth Center, the Carl Sonnenschein House, is open Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and offers a wide range of drop-in activities and recreational opportunities for children ages 6 and up and teens/young adults up to age 27.
In addition to the open-access area, the center focuses on “Urban Street Dance” activities (hip-hop, breakdancing, etc.). During the Easter, summer, and fall breaks, there is a two-week vacation program, as well as a summer camp trip for children ages 6 to 12.
On weekends, various activities and events for children and teens take place (see current posters). Anyone interested in volunteering is welcome to join our volunteer team.
