Euro-Youth Children and Youth Forum

Euro Jugend supports and guides children, adolescents, and adults in the areas of recreation, vacations, education, and social interaction. Its work is grounded in Christian principles, so children and adolescents of diverse backgrounds and religious affiliations are welcome.

At the Children’s and Youth Forum on Bendstraße, daily and weekly programs take place as a blend of open youth work, youth association activities, and full-day after-school programs. These programs are primarily aimed at girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 16.

In addition, teenagers and young adults become active as volunteer youth leaders after completing 18 months of basic training. Weekly

group activities are offered as traditional children’s or youth groups with self-designed programs led by a youth leader.
In addition, there are regular interest-based activities such as theater, indoor climbing on our own climbing wall, circus, cooking, and sewing, etc. Another key

focus is Radio Ragazzi, Euro Jugend’s children’s and youth radio station.
Here, during weekly meetings, vacation editorial sessions, and school projects, children and youth prepare and produce segments for the Sunday evening radio show on the local station Antenne AC—all created by and featuring children and youth. During school breaks, there are experiential education camps featuring windsurfing, sailing, biking, and hiking. There are also vacation games and music and theater weeks.

Every other weekend during the school year, overnight weekend camps are held. Theater performances, large-scale events, and mobile children’s cultural events round out the range of activities.
