Western cemetery II

Westfriedhof II covers an area of 216,763 m² and has been in use since May 1, 1890. In 2010, there were 198 burials. A notable feature is the Campo Santo, a rare neo-Gothic crypt that is a designated historic landmark.
Access is available from Vaalser Straße—on the right-hand side heading out of town—where there is a staircase next to the bridge, via the adjacent parking lot, Bleiberger Straße, or Valkenburger Straße. The cemetery is open all day.
By public transportation, the cemetery can be reached via the “Westfriedhof” stop.
