Western Cemetery I

Description

Westfriedhof I covers an area of 62,261 m² and has been in use since January 4, 1889. In 2010, there were 125 burials. The earliest graves and the funeral hall are designated historic landmarks.
Access is available from the left side of Vaalser Straße heading out of town, via the bridge connecting the cemeteries, or via the footpath to Steppenberg.
The cemetery is open all day.
By public transportation, the cemetery can be reached via the “Westfriedhof” stop.
