Western Cemetery I

Description

Westfriedhof I is 62,261 m² in size and has been in use since January 4, 1889. In 2010, the number of burials was 125. The first graves and the mourning hall are listed buildings.
The cemetery can be accessed from the left-hand side of Vaalser Straße on the way out of town, via the bridge connecting the cemeteries or via the footpath to Steppenberg.
Access is possible all day.
The cemetery can be reached by public transport via the "Westfriedhof" stop.
