Jewish cemetery on the Hüls

The first burial at the Jewish cemetery on Hüls took place on February 7, 2007. The cemetery covers an area of 6,800 m². It was incorporated into the Hüls Cemetery and also uses that cemetery’s infrastructure. It is operated and maintained by the Aachen Municipal Authority. Grave administration is handled by the Jewish Community of Aachen.
In 2010, there were 22 burials.
Access is available via the Hüls Cemetery or the Charlottenburger Allee footpath, located just past the bridge in the direction of Eilendorf.
Hours of operation:
Mon–Thu: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fri and before Jewish holidays: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Sat and on Jewish holidays: closed
Sun and before national holidays: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The cemetery can be reached by
public transportation via the “Hüls Friedhof” stop.
