Haaren Jewish Cemetery Memorial

The Jewish cemetery on the Haarberg covers an area of approximately 600 m². It was established in 1879 and destroyed during World War II. A memorial made from the old gravestones was erected on the site of the former cemetery. The cemetery is to be preserved as a memorial site.
Access is via Alt-Haarener-Straße—turn right at the town’s edge before the highway underpass—or via Kreuzstraße. Both routes are quite difficult to navigate. The cemetery is open all day.
By public transportation, the cemetery can be reached via the “Haaren Tonbrennerstraße” and “Haaren Birkenweg” stops.
