Haaren Jewish Cemetery Memorial

Description

The Jewish cemetery on the Haarberg is approx. 600 m² in size. It was laid out in 1879 and destroyed in the Second World War. A memorial was erected from the old gravestones on the former cemetery site. The cemetery is to be preserved as a memorial.
Access is possible via Alt-Haarener-Straße, at the end of the village before the highway underpass on the right, or via Kreuzstraße. Both access options are quite difficult. Access is possible all day.
The cemetery can be reached by public transport via the stops "Haaren Tonbrennerstraße" and "Haaren Birkenweg".
