Next week, only the Aachen-Laurensberg District Council will meet.
Wednesday, September 30
At 5:30 p.m., the Aachen-Laurensberg District Council will meet at the district office on Rathausstraße. Among other topics, the council will discuss a citizen’s petition to establish a 30 km/h zone on Rathausstraße and the redesign of the Vaalser Straße / Amsterdamer Ring / Halifaxstraße intersection—specifically, the feasibility studies and selection of options for the “Venskyhäuschen” bus stop. Also on the agenda: the City of Aachen’s support for the cross-border archaeological landscape park in the municipality of Simpelveld (Netherlands) through the Charlemagne Border Region Working Group.
