Adult Education Center: Lecture on Electric Mobility in Aachen
How does electric mobility work in practice in Aachen? The city invites you to a presentation followed by a discussion. The event begins on Thursday, September 10, at 5 p.m. in Room 215 of the Adult Education Center (VHS) at Peterstraße 21/25.
The city of Aachen aims to be climate-neutral by 2030. Electric mobility plays a major role in this initiative, as carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions from road traffic cannot be sufficiently reduced simply by replacing motor vehicles with public transit, bicycles, and walking. The presentation will outline the steps the city of Aachen has taken so far to promote electric mobility and advance the expansion of charging infrastructure. It will also explain how charging electric vehicles works in practice.
The VHS is offering this event free of charge in cooperation with the City of Aachen's Department of Mobility and Transportation.
