The funeral hall at Westfriedhof II is currently undergoing renovations. Painting work will take place in November. As a result, the funeral hall is expected to be unavailable for farewell ceremonies throughout the entire month of November. The cemetery administration of Aachen City Services is therefore making the Campo Santo at Westfriedhof II available free of charge as an alternative venue for funeral services and farewell ceremonies. Seating will be provided, and the simple design will create an atmosphere that radiates tranquility, offers comfort, conveys dignity, and keeps the focus entirely on the farewell. This ensures that bereaved family members have a weather-protected alternative available even while the renovation work is underway.

In addition, funeral services may also be held at St. Francis Church, subject to prior coordination with the relevant parish office.
