Spooky Fun and a Sense of Rhythm: Fall Events at the City Library
The Children's and Youth Library invites you to two special events. The program for the middle of the fall break includes a spooky yet delightful horror night and a musical workshop where your own body becomes an instrument.
On Thursday, October 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., things will get spooky at the Children’s Library: At the Spooky Night event, children ages 9 to 12 can look forward to exciting stories, mysterious corners, and plenty of spine-tingling moments. Amid bookshelves, monsters, and little surprises, brave participants can experience an extraordinary evening at the library.
On Friday, October 23, from 3 to 5 p.m., it’s all about rhythm and movement. In the body percussion workshop, children and teens ages 10 and up will discover how to make music using their own bodies. By clapping, snapping, stomping, and drumming, they’ll create different rhythms that are then combined to form musical accompaniments. No prior musical experience is required.
Registration is required for both events.
You can do this by email at kinderbibliothek@mail.aachen.de or by phone at 0241 432-38610.
The events will take place at the Aachen City Library, Couvenstraße 15.
